Palin Wows In Florida

Reports of the crowd number for Governor Sarah Palin's first visit to the State of Florida vary.



Was it 25,000 to 30,000?

Or 60,000, as linked to by Drudge?

According to the local fire chief, it was closer to 70,000. Compared to the recent 20,000 in Jacksonville and 8,000 in Miami for Obama, that shows you the hunger to see this woman on the part of many.

Whatever the figure was, I think the mood of the crowd, and of the Republican Party today, regarding Governor Palin can be summed up by this supporter's words:

”She’s the sunrise, not the sunset,” said Linda Cusumano, 57, of Orlando. “She makes me feel there’s nothing we can’t do.”

Which is another way of saying, she embodies the spirit of America.
