Oh dear, now I have a blog

Well, I already had one, but this just puts the finishing touches on my internetting career. And I see they don't have the font I like. Hmm. My recent obsession, other than collecting fountain pens and opera glasses, is turning back the pages of books to the end notes, to find by which linotype a book is printed -- my favourite to date is "Galliard" based on a design in the 1500's by the incomparable Robert Granjon.
