Amazon Pushing The Obamas

The Kaylene Johnson book on Govenor Sarah Palin has finally made it into Kindle format. It's a steal at $9.99, considering it is sold out in paperback in many bookstores. I finally tracked one down, and bought it on Monday.

But Amazon's Kindle section doesn't even feature this book in its Kindle homepage. Instead, they are pushing a little-known biography of Michelle Obama, and a quickly assembled book by Senator Obama on his Change platform.

Sarah Palin's runaway hit biography is merely relegated to the "Movers and Shakers" category, where it is already at Number 9 overall in Kindle books sold. Let's see if they will feature her book, not just in the Best Selling section, but as a special highlighted book. I doubt it...

And I don't need to mention that Senator McCain's book isn't featured on the frontispiece, do I?

  • Yesterday they had the Corsi Obama-attack-book as the first offering.

This was the first book of a vertical list. The list was about halfway down the main Kindle page (which is directly linked to the amazon.com front page.) This list was meant to show popular titles that would entice folks to buy a Kindle. You can now stop hyperventilating.

    I haven't looked today.
