Whereas his predecessor, was always worried about someone opening the door and catching him being a bad boy.

Part of it, for President Bush, anyway is that no awkward moment, no unusual grimmace, no pensive furrowing of the brow goes unphotographed.
He could take one hundred great photos in a row, but the one that will spread like wildfire is the one where he looks slightly haggard or befuddled (or with mysterious bumps in his jacket that must be the Roveian mind control box showing through the fabric).
The job does age, and none have escaped its ravages, but I think the current President suffers a degree of scrutiny never before seen that will amplify the perception of the effect.

And I don't think he looks terribly aged. The hair grays. The eyes weaken.

My waist widens! Now that's age! I swear! It ain't me eating a tad too much! Nope! It's age. Hmmph!
