One Thing Though

My coverage of the Alito Confirmation Hearings, has brought this blog to a screeching halt.

Why I thought that most boring of proceedings, where the most exciting thing that happened was a poor woman blowing her nose off-camera, could be of interest to you lot, I'll never know.

Maybe because John Roberts' Hearings were so engaging, I thought I could get away with it twice.

Just goes to show, know your topic, but more importantly -- your audience.

  • Well I loved it. No other blog touches your wit and observations. Well, the ones that I've read anyway, heh. Wait, that's not so funny, is it?
I did sneak back over to The Definitive Blog and found it all serious and uppitty, Doctoral and stuff.
This is the only blog authored by someone who could possess as many Doctorates as she wishes and still be written with the singular style of humor found here and, more importantly, readable. Oh, except for the occasional foray to Webster's or Encarta and begging Jose for a translation, that is.

    Thanks, Paul.

There's a blog which I haven't checked out yet, which the Anchoress highly touts.

    All Things Beautiful, IIRC.

We should check it out. :)

What, that you germinate your seeds into one garden? ;)

Really? That doesn't sound like her. She can be lots of fun, if yes, in the question of the Alito Hearings, professorial.

Aww. Thanks Paulie. Go Steelers! :)

    Cheers,

Victoria, I suppose, what it is, is that perhaps she doesn't suffer fools, which from sweet kindness you do.
I've tried there, even to help with problems she was having on podcasts but was met with silence or comments which seemed to suggest, go home little boy, you're bothering me.
    It's just me, I'm sure.

Oh, Victoria, you're speaking to a very, very slow individual.
I found a Blog called "All things beautiful", however what do you mean by "IIRC"?

Well, it's true that she has a set of balls on her that would choke a horse (erm), but I fancy that's because she is a Type A personality (as I am), but not a very sentimental person (as I am).

I don't know of a single lady professor of a certain age, who isn't somewhat of a beeatch.

But Ann's okay, once you get past that.

    It's just me, I'm sure.

    Well, just stay here then.

I take care of my own. :)

    Cheers,
    Victoria

  • Oh!

"IIRC" -- If I recall correctly.

I also use, BTW (by the way), and TTBOMK (to the best of my knowledge). :)

    Cheers,
    Victoria
