Senator Kennedy Back Home

Senator McCain began his debate remarks with a classy mention of wishing Senator Edward M. Kennedy, whom he called "The Lion of the Senate", well -- the latter had just been taken to hospital.



I'm happy to report that the Senator is back home at the famous Kennedy Compound in Cape Cod, and in fact, had been home since 8 PM EST. No news if he watched the debate, but it would be amazing if he had.
