Not being familiar with what was to come, I put on me slippers, got a tea, kicked back and was ready to listen to a long, oh, 30 minutes or so, audio - post.

You left out the Tub of Vaseline, Paul. ;)

Imagine my surprise when I had to gulp down my tea in five seconds or less!

Oooh, here let me blow on your tongue.

"Testing at the University Lab," I believe it was, came across on my Quick Time player, I replayed it several times looking for a subliminal message. None. Sigh....back to things more expected but less looked forward to.....Am I missing something here?

Well apparently, you and everyone thought I would be Althouse-podcasting about Alito, my son John Christopher, my ex-husband Richard, the acorns, and the squirrels, etc.

Listen, I can't compete with that. Who can?

So I have to think about this podcasting thingie well before launching it.

It may be that I will podcast in a different language every month.

Or just stick to one, which will give me the most pleasure, or exposure, since not too many podcasts are done in that language.

There are just too many English-language podcasts around, all ruminating on their thoughts, for me to add my spoon to that broth.

IOW, I have to find a niche!

Anyway, I'm a writer. Not a speaker, capiche? ;)

Oh! BTW, Ruth Anne -- the Audioblogger defaults to 3 or 5 minutes worth of audio, I forget which.

Another reason I could never Althouse the podcasts. I have to keep it short and sweet.
