Suddenly Wonkette

...is everywhere.

It's funny watching her transformation from erstwhile gossip-blogger, and liberal sex harpie, into some kind of "expert" on a range of topics from dating (CNN), to commenting on Google's privacy tussle with the Feds (MSNBC).

I notice that no one asks Michelle Malkin over to CNN to comment on the latest Queen Latifah movie, or having Chris Matthews flirt with her about the hushed-up Air America scandale.

Just goes to show, it helps to have a short pithy title to your book, like Dog Days, than this mouthful, "Unhinged: Exposing Liberals Gone Wild" -- since I'm sure content had NOTHING to do with it.

  • Feeling a bit green today?

Anyway, have you been reading Insty? The Norah Vincent book he recommended is quite fascinating.

I am, especially for a woman, strangely unenvious.

    Envy is for wimps.

    Cattiness, OTOH, is for queens!

Haven't read Insty for a while, now. How's he doing?

    Cool! Thanks for the tip.

I am reading John Berendt's book on Venice, which is another AMAZING yarn of characters, like the one about Savannah.

I'm sure John Cusack will play him again in the film version.

    Cheers,
    Victoria

  • "Haven't read Insty for a while, now."

Actually, neither have I. But a friend sent me the link, which got me interested enough to buy and read the book.

  • It's the name, has a sexual-perverted ring to it. Not to me, of course.

  • Victoria, how'd you resist the urge to retitle her 'Wankette' in your post?

(you are made of stronger stuff than I)

    Verification Word:

    owtij

(now they are in to phonetic spelling at blogger, hmmmm)

  • As far as Michelle Malkin's abscense on CNN or MSNBC, she is a 'contributor' for FNC (even has a bio there) and has guest hosted many of their programs, so that might have more to do with it than some nefarious silencing of attractive conservative women (though it pains me to say that).

Oh Michelle has an exclusive contract you mean?

    I hadn't realised that.

That does explain why raspy-voiced, ex-Dukakis campaign manager, Susan Estrich never comments on CNN, either.

    Cheers,
    Victoria
