Parents' Pride
Can you imagine how it must be to be the parent of someone just nominated for the US Presidency, or Vice-Presidency? The feeling of pride must be absolutely overwhelming -- this knowledge of having done something uncontestably right in raising your kid.
This is how Chuck and Sally Heath greeted the announcement of their daughter, Sarah, being tapped as the Republican running-mate of John McCain.

And not to be left out, Roberta McCain, 96, crying her eyes out during her son's speech at the RNC.

Well done, you three.
