Who Said 'Oh God' Just Before Jindal's Speech

Given that Governor Bobby Jindal gave a most lacklustre rebuttal speech, I want to know if the person who is audibly muttering, "Oh God" can read palms too.

He's obviously a fortune teller.

Incidentally, if Bobby Jindal were black and not brown (as Juan Williams of Fox constantly likes to point out that he is) and I were a Democrat who loves to read these things into every moment, I would say what Olbermann - or whomever - said, has a racist tinge to it.

Too bad no one watches MSNBC else people would be justifiably outraged.

ADDED: Just in case anyone thinks the 'Oh God' was not about Jindal, I say nuts. Check out the inside laugh by an MSNBCer in the studio, just after the dismissive phrase.

  • Had to chuckle at the last part of your post because read a comment about this on Althouse's blog & wished I'd heard it for myself. That got me to thinking... I don't even know what channel MSNBC is on!
Oh, and thanks for finding it & putting it up. I just wish my friends/family read the interet more for their news than MSM... fairness doctrine indeed!

  • I watched it during the campaign, but since November 4th, nothing. But then my cable news viewing is down dramatically overall.

I just don't want to watch any of this unfold, you know?

    What do they tell you?

    Cheers,

  • Oh god is right. What a terrible speech.

  • Told you so, I'm afraid.

  • Excuse me? What exactly was the point of this speech tonight?

My guess is that Obama's Chicken Little impression flapping around the country frightening taxpayers into swallowing Pelosi's shit sandwich obviously cost Obama a bit more political capital than expected.

Jeebus, the WH could at least hand out some free dental floss so we could clean the pork chunks out of our teeth before ordering up his next craptastic confection.

To mix cartoon metaphors, I'm beginning to get a Wiley Coyote vibe from Obama's toothy grin and goofily cool mannerisms.

The MSNBC web site used to be very good for streaming video. I watched the 9/11 attacks unfold live at their site. They changed how they stream stuff a little while after that and it just plain sucked. Then Olbermann started his idiotic pontificating (I think that was 2003?) and that's when I completely gave up on MSNBC. I don't think I've watched their cable channel or been to their web site since.

The guy's a sports moron. WTF could he possibly have to say about politics that is meaningful in any way?

    I don't get it.

I'm betting it was Mr. Tingle Twinge himself--Chris Matthews.
