Hoch Wingery!

This is what you get for being so busy with stocking stuffing, you don't even have the time to check the state of your Blog Kingdom.

The Divided Kingdom of Kos-Wingery

Click on the map above to find this blog!

Hint: I am near Instyvania and Buddha-Pissed, slightly due east of Gal-Icy-A.

No prizes for those who guessed Gal-Icy-A was Ann Althouse. Or for that matter, who is Depravia.

(Although for a second, I thought she was in Sluztburg)

Not bad work for an agnostic, Kommissar.

Your reward is the Most Ancient Blog Order of the Royal Goose, Low-Class.

  • I always pictured you as the pretender to some minor East-European principality...

  • I love maps and this Commissar did a great job, but, in my map, Victoria gets a much bigger territory!!!

  • Apparently you need be famous to appear. I searched for two hours, trying to find me, no luck. I guess they don't list dead-end streets on state maps either. I feel a lot like Eeyore for those familiar with Pooh - not the blogger - the fictional, wait maybe the blogger is, I mean the cartoon character.
You do so deserve a kingdom with serfs such as I contentedly squatting on your land - that's not a good visual, is it?
Anyway, congratulations! And thanks for noticin'

  • Words fail, I'm so laughing (and I think the very idea is cool).

    Linked there, hat-tipped you.

And, OT, if I don't get a chance to comment (though I'll read) beforehand, a very Merry Christmas to you and yours. This year, Santa's going to introduce my kindergartener to Marzipan. I'm looking forward to seeing his reaction (either way). A bit of litmus test, to which I will not go in here.

  • I suppose you're baking, or supervising the preparations for a absolutely fantastic Christmas. Good!!
I'm happy to see you are occupied by things not-net related like, gee, me I guess. That speaks highly of you.
There is a little matter needing discussed, I did not get my invitation, just a slip of your busy mind, I'm sure. Apology accepted. Now, have fun. Ha! It could not be otherwise.
While I'm at it, I don't want to be first, but I want to get it in, Merry Christmas to your readers from who I learn and laugh. They are very sharp people too and fun to read.

Today, you are Marie of Romania!

    (fanfare)

    (falls down from stairs)

Although in truth I am more like Auntie Mame than Miss Gooch.

    Cheers,
    Victoria

  • I love maps

    Hey me too!

Although in truth, I prefer globes to flat maps.

Once, I went to the Downtown museum of South Florida History (you know, the one in between the MoMa and the Main Library), and I saw reproductions of old maps selling for 2 bucks!

And best of all, they told me that there is a Cartographers Expo in SoFla once a year.

    Never went though.

and this Commissar did a great job, but, in my map, Victoria gets a much bigger territory!!!

    I want Great Britain!!

Dude, this is like Risk. I always place all my armies in that little island, and those in Bavaria eat me up.

    Cheers,
    Victoria

    No. :)

It's just Der Kommissar and I go way back -- to our Blogad salad days.

I searched for two hours, trying to find me, no luck.

Did you email him?? Silly boy!

I guess they don't list dead-end streets on state maps either.

    London ABC. It's not a map. It's a Bible.

    Thank you, serf!

BTW, did you know that today is Kiss-A-Serf day in the Duchy of Szundries?

    *smooch*

    Cheers,
    Victoria

  • Words fail, I'm so laughing (and I think the very idea is cool).

    I thought it was brill.

It's one thing to do a Blogcestry chart, like what JSU and I are in.

Half the work is done for you, when you get people emailing you with their bona-fides.

But THIS. Wow. That was quality work.

    Linked there, hat-tipped you.

    YAY! Thank you, Reader_Iam. :)

And, OT, if I don't get a chance to comment (though I'll read) beforehand, a very Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I apologise to you and all here, in fact, for not being more active, but just as soon as my Christmas Hols (and to an extent, the New Years) are over, it'll be blogging as quirkily as usual! :)

This year, Santa's going to introduce my kindergartener to Marzipan. I'm looking forward to seeing his reaction (either way). A bit of litmus test, to which I will not go in here.

Poor poochie. I mean, kid! ;)

(Hey, what can I say, I dislike marzipan)

I will hold off from wishing you a Merry Christmas, R_I. You'll see why. ;)

    Cheers,
    Victoria

You're my kind of Princess. I wish I had been there to receive and not out toiling in the fields.

  • Oh, I found your little "kingdom", no help from your directions!!!!East of Gal-Icy-A????? Only if East is Southwest! Szundries is located at 20(x-axis),46(y-axis)--in the Prinicpality of Wingery. A nice spot on the Koros River...And they wonder why men never stop and ask for directions!
