    We chatted, then spoke on the phone, for so many hours, that we were not strangers for long.

    It worked out until the summer of 2004, when she decided I had no ambition and was unlikely to make any money. She left. But until then, I was deeply in love! :D

  • benning76, I just read your post and I really enjoyed it! You can write! But, I must admit, I am still trying to understand how you could have proposed to somebody you had never met! Sounds like it worked out great; but a bit risky!

    Okay, I give up.

    I don't think there is such a pain, as one can feel regarding anything to do with romantic love.

    Of course, I can say that, since I have both my parents alive, and never having experienced the joy of being a parent myself, let alone the agony of losing a child.

    I know what you went through, Benning. I think we all do...
