I'm completely in agreement about the Gators being a party school, perhaps even THE party school -- though FSU, I thought, always beat them (the 'Noles have FAMU to help out, though).

However, I congratulate alum and Sundries reader, José Aguirre, on the finish!

I simply do not understand the University of Miami not making the top 20, though. That's like listing the 20 coolest people on late night television, and failing to cite Red Eye's, Andy Levy, and his surgically-altered, cynically-raised eyebrow.

  • Only one school in California makes it, UCSB.

Definitely has the reputation of being the biggest 'party' school within the UC system. Guess everyone else is too busy actually learning.

(and back in the early 90s, I may or may not have attended my share of parties at UCSB, crashed on my share of couches, suffered my share of backaches after crashing on couches, and dealt 90 miles of early morning traffic on a Monday getting to work after hanging out one night too long in lovely Isla Vista)

  • And....I think that this is better late than never, but I'm incredibly surprised that the University of Wisconsin-Madison hasn't been listed in even the Top 20.

Man....what is it with Cheesehead land?

I thought just as recent as a couple years ago that the Badgers were #1.

As Jed Clampett used to say, "whoa doggie."
