Soooo, How's Your Saturday Going?

Ours in Miami Beach is just rotten.

88F/31C and with this blinding sun that just makes me irritable.

Ugh, what a hard life.

  • Just wonderfully Vic, thanks for asking! Days like today I like to say; I love you Miami!!!

  • Not so good here...I have a head/toothache that requires I deploy Tylenol like Stalin deployed tanks in the Eastern Bloc...with pretty much the same effect. I received a job setback yesterday, and well, and I am so behind the eight ball, I might as well switch sports. I appear to be employable by noone.

I had a good day yesterday with my friend Camie and her son, (see Fluffy for son pic!) and The Little Man insisted I throw around like a sack of potatoes, which is fun, but I worry over dropping him on his noodle! Camie is in the pregnancy home stretch (18 days to go) so we try to help as much as we can. She sacked out on the futon...

Hopefully basketball tonight will cheer me up; sorry if I sound glum, it's the pain talkin'.

    Miami looks pretty sweet...

Miami/Miami Beach was ANGELIC today. One of the most perfect days I've ever had in this city.

I met some North Dakotans who, bless them, were in a rental car lost in Coral Gables.

After I sent them on their way to their nearby hotel, I asked them if they wanted tips on what to see during their stay -- my travellogues dancing like chestnuts inside my brain.

They looked at me as if I were a half-breed mutant.

"We're going to the beach, for 7 days straight."

What could you have been thinking, Vic?

    Cheers,
    Victoria

Ron! Come here, ya big lug...hugs.

I can't comfort you through this ethernet of ours, but I will say a prayer for you tomorrow, in church.

You will be okay, you will see. :)

That was Miami Beach, but your point stands proud and pointy.

  • OKAY, which one of you put the evil eye on this blogpost????

The next day, Sunday, was one of the ugliest days I remember in Miami/Mia Beach.

    Boring. Grey skies. Drizzly. Depressing.

I know who are, and where you live, and I will get you!

    Cheers,
    Victoria
