I've been having some luck with friends getting them into Piaf...Aznavour? Maybe, probably not...I like him myself, and that's a nice vid, Vic! Perhaps you need a Johnny Halliday post? :)

I absolutely positively completely and unconditionally admire Aznavour. I grew up listening to him singing in Spanish, and once in a while a French song. He plays quite often on my stereo...

We first saw Charles Aznavour in concert in 1972 and "Comme Ils Disent" was breathtaking, the audience was completely taken in and silent for several seconds at the end.
"Et moi dans mon coin" is a fav too.
As a long time married woman the cautionary tale of "Tu t'laisses aller" never fails to make me smile.
