Go Canada!

The Christmas-centric "Juniors" hockey Championship held in Canada every year, features the host nation versus the ever-elegant Swedes in the gold medal match. It's one of my favourite tournaments, and one I dearly miss as my cable providers no longer have the Centre-Ice NHL package, which always had it as a bonus.

Sarah's "New" Clothes

Governor Palin has been on an one-woman mission to clear up any misconceptions about how she dresses, these past few days. This attitude has contributed to those rumours that she is "going rogue" (which if true, I fully applaud her in doing) from Team McCain.

On Sunday, she showed up in two rallies wearing the following getups:

A pink jacket which she mentioned was her own, purchased from the now famous Out Of The Closet consignment shop, in Anchorage.

And in that Asheville rally, she showed up wearing her knockout blue jeans.

She actually donned those jeans the previous day too, when she dropped the puck in the St. Louis Blues - Los Angeles Kings hockey game. Look at that gorgeous long black slicker she has on.

I don't know what the RNC were thinking. I think her normal clothes look outstanding on her. Give ME a million dollars, and I wouldn't look as good as she does with the $150,000 they gave her in ready-bought clothes. Further, I bet you that she would've made that money go farther had they given her a voucher.

A woman always knows how to make a buck stretch, which I tell myself everytime I hit Loehmann's.

Hockey Mom

More photos of Governor Palin and two of her daughters, at the home opener in Philadelphia. The lady in the Flyers jersey is Cathy O'Connell, who won a competition between local hockey moms and got to drop the puck with the Governatrix.

See video here.

America's Sweetheart Watches Mum Drop Puck

Some people just have a star quality and little Piper Palin, at the ripe age of 7, is just one of those people.

Watch how your eyes, and the cameraman follows her around as Governor Palin drops the puck in the Philadelphia Flyers versus New York Rangers, in Philadelphia. Does anyone even notice poor Willow at the back?

(She's going to be a knockout when she's older, though)

Here's the Youtube video.

I love the high bone-coloured chaquette overcoat that Palin is wearing, incidentally. And I also love how the crowd booed her. Philadelphians are notorious for their rudeness; they'd boo the Pope. Why should she be any special?

That's Scott Gomez, the co-captain of the New York Rangers, giving Palin a kiss in greeting. He's a native Alaskan, and allegedly, very fond of his Governor.

Bristol Palin's Future Husband To Attend RNC

Levi Johnson, the extremely handsome, rugged hockey player at the crux of the disgraceful media reports regarding his future wife's pregnancy, will be attending the Republican National Convention this Wednesday.

As JSU put it, "excellent move".

I would go further: a seasoned politician's move.
