So You Want To Hear What a Hurricane Sounds Like?

It sounds like this:

Hurricane Katrina.

UPDATE: Thanks to the wonderful Kullrad for hosting this .wav.

  • Geocities is teh ghey.

I can host your .wav file if you want, Vic. I've recently come into some web real estate and have yet to start building, so there's plenty of room.

  • What's the sound of bandwidth being swamped?

By Blogger JSU, at Mon Aug 29, 09:19:00 am GMT-4

  • Kullrad, you rock! But I sent you the .wav and it was returned to me with reason attached:

"552 Message size exceeds fixed limit"

It's not a big file, either. Just 3 MBs.

    I await your further suggestion.

  • JSU -- thanks for the emails. :)

Bandwidth being swamped is curiously like the train-whistle a hurricane makes. Eerie.

  • See UKSF for further instructions, Agent B.

  • Copy, Agent X.

The spotted geese fly at noon. Awaiting buttplug arrival.

  • Sounded like a freight train interrupted by a girl jumping in puddles.

UKSF = United Kingdom Secret Forces?

By Blogger Renato, at Mon Aug 29, 04:05:00 pm GMT-4

  • UKSF = UK Special Forces ? Summit like that I reckon.

Anyways, VB, you sound strangely like the sort of person who stands by the doors of selfridge's selling lucky heather. Did the caravan make it thru the storm ?

  • Nono, no lucky heather.

Mind you, I've held up placards shouting about the End of the World on Bond Street more than once, in my day.

As far as the caravan is concerned...erm?

    "Save yer souls!!"
