Frozen

Right.

I've attacked Irina Slutskaya. Then I went after Emily Hughes. Who's next for my poison keyboard?

Let me just say this:

Shizuka Arakawa deserved her Gold Medal for having the cleanest performance of any of the top contenders.

Mind you, I've seen better in past years, albeit I only watch figure skating during the Olympics (unlike my mother, and almost every other woman I know -- who love it).

But Arakawa did just enough, to win.

However, if they ever hand out prizes for "the most vacant stare", she's a shoe-in to bring home the gold.

I've seen plastic kewpie dolls with more facial expressiveness. Scary.

  • Sorry, I haven't been watching. Blasphemy, I know, but hey, I'm a member of the American Idol cult. A cult which you and everyone else out there should join.

But I have watched the re-cap on Fox and Friends. Particularly high-larious this morning (Friday) with a re-cap of Brian Kilmeade's re-caps. I'm not clear on why but his schtick is that NBC won't allow Fox to used their footage so he uses what he can. Hilarity ensues.

  • "Then I went after Emily Hughes."

You compared her to Alyson Hannigan. Surely that can't be seen as an insult!

  • Sorry I'm late with the replies, guys!

    On to Pete's comment:

The last time I watched Idol, was the famous William Hung try-out episode, so no can do, Pete!

However, and I already mentioned this over at Althouse, but starting on Monday, I will be tuning into my very first viewing of The Donald's Apprentice.

The Althouse threads on Idol, however, did influence me, as well as it being a more international show this time around, apparently.

First off, I don't care who knows this, but the chemistry between Doocy, Hill and Kilmeade is THE BEST on television, full stop.

I love Fox and Friends in the mornings.

Hehe. I had seen that yes.

Basically, they take old old footage, of say the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics, and show highlights from those Games.

Then E.D. mentions something about Brian's high-forehead, and they're off!

    High-larious indeed. :)

Ooh. An irate Alyson Hannigan fan, eh?

Well, in point of fact, I've been told she makes a cameo in "Date Movie", which is currently playing.

And the cameo consists of her leaning against school lockers, wearing her undies.

So I refrain from further catty comment until I see said film. ;)

    LOL!!

That's an even better comment than my assertion that the reason the Japanese love David Beckham so much, is that he is anime, come to life.

    Cheers,
