THE ANSWER IS: Yes, it's one of those newfangled trike bikes! Frankly, I have to admit I didn't know that they existed before I saw this, and took a pic of it. Then I came home, and Googled. I think they're ugly as sin, and quite ungainly-looking.
Like an Harley which pigged out on McDonald's for a year...
But no, there were only two passengers, not the three as guessed by one commenter. I simply loved the composition -- you couldn't get more All-American than these two young, blue-eyed blondes riding around on a flag-tattooed trike.

It doesn't look like this picture was taken through the windshield of a car. ...Or perhaps it is a meticulously clean windshield.
What's that gold stuff on the license plate? It looks like a gold eagle (or an olive branch). I'd say these two are patriots given their copious display of eagles.

Dang, it's been a long time since I had to think about Mike Dukakis in that tank commercial.
Almost had it scrubbed from my memory, now I've been forced to think about it and I have to start over again with trying to forget about it.

There might be three people on that motor trike. There's a blue "thing" between the man and woman, but I can't tell what it is. It looks small enough to be a child.
Or maybe it's just a blue baseball cap and the driver is wearing it backwards.
