Another One You Won't Believe

This Barack Obama chap is just a wee bit socialist, nyet?

(Via Ace by way of Naked Emperor News, again. I'm sorry, why doesn't the McCain campaign research these things? Why do we have to drag his carcass past the winning line by ourselves?)

  • Yes, they should, but maybe they shouldn't. Just look at the past few weeks, they have been labeled crazy, angry, unhinged, violent, murderous, etc, just by stating the truth about The One (PBUH)

Public opinion, or rather that which is influenced by the media elites (sadly still a lot of it) would be unforgiving.

Hola Ernie! You would've loved Albita yesterday, and more than once I thought of you, Jose, and all my other Cubiche blogfriends. :)

Yes, I realise that McCain can't do everything (hey, we had this conversation before on Althouse, se no me engaño!) but I think Bush would if he had such a treasure trove of info about his opponent.

And the media didn't like him either, if you get my point. ;)

    Cheers,
    Victoria

  • I love Albita, and I have liked her since she was just emerging in the late '80s. I remember when she had a terrible traffic accident in Cuba. She got into a crash with a bus while riding her bike to a recording session. She was the only one at the time doing what would be the equivalent of pop country here. I have never been a great fan of "musica campesina" (Cuban country music), but I have liked a few of its interpreters and she is definitely one of them. I am happy that she was there, and thanks for thinking of me. I would have loved to be there!

  • Sorry, I got lost on the topic of the accident...the point I wanted to make was that I together with a huge majority of the Cuban people followed her progress through the surgery, her coma and finally her recovery into full health. It was one of those things the government didn't have to tell us to do.

  • Here is Albita singing El Reto. I have loved this song since I was a child.
