The Devil Went Up To Georgia

Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) is in the run-off reelection of his political life on December 2nd, and guess who has been asked to stump for him?

Governor Sarah Palin.

Her staff are trying to square the dates with Chambliss as we speak (Senator McCain has also been asked to stump for Chambliss...). The reason I am posting this is that if she comes down to Georgia, I will go UP to Georgia, by car, by plane, heck, by Blimp, it doesn't matter.

God willing, I will be there, and therefore, so will Sundries.

  • Just geographically speaking, then, you're the devil, right? Because if Palin comes down to Georgia from AK, you would be the one who went up.

  • I expect we'll be seeing a lot of Palin speaking for Republicans: candidates, the party and the party's committees. Or at least she'll be asked to speak. Alaska is far away. Will all these invitations include her family? If not she will say no more than yes.

  • Ruth Anne, yes, I am the Devil in that equation. :P

Ron, I can hear the fiddles now!

Oxy, I think that she is now worth several thousand votes to any Republican candidate, so paying a plane ride for her husband, Piper (Trig flies for free) would probably be a good investment. :)

Ironically, given the fact that she sold Murkowski's jet, it would've been fiscally better for Alaska for her to have kept it!

    Cheers,
    Victoria
