When We Talk Of Media Bias

This is the kind of skewed piffle we mean.

Last night, I was part of a packed Bank United Centre at the University of Miami. It seats 7,000 with 25 executive boxes (which were full). That's not including all the people who were in the standing room only stage area, which might've accounted for yet another 500.

We waited until MIDNIGHT to see him, and when he arrived, the roof was raised to the rafters. The shouts of support were incredible.

This is amazing, considering it was McCain's third time in two weeks to Miami. I was present at the other rally at FIU, his first in the Miami area. You couldn't swing the proverbial cat in that one.

People who pooh-pooh the media bias idea will say, what CNN is doing is reporting the facts.

To that I say, maybe 1,000 people showed up at that rally, but they want to make it seem McCain is faltering, and indeed, failing in Florida. No enthusiasm. Stick a fork in him in the Sunshine State.

BULLSH*T.

I got the photos. I got the videos. You will see what enthusiasm for Mac truly is, and shame media one more time for their ineffably obvious desire to depress Republicans.

I may forgive many people, including a few renegade Conservatives who turned yella and ran away from McCain-Palin in 2008. But I will never forgive media for what they have done.

If someone thinks up of a class action lawsuit to sue media for professional malpractise, do me a favour, will you? Drop me a line.

  • I have wondered to one blogger/writer/lawyer and to the LA Times about the feasibility of a suit for violation of one's civil rights if in fact the Khalidi video contains information which would have significantly impacted the decision making process of the suing voter(s). If it does contain a record of inflammatory language and / or behavior which could reasonably be shown to have altered a vote, why should they not be resonsible at some level -- since the press's job is to inform the public. Not deceive the public.

Of course that would never fly, but there should be a price that is paid.

Perhaps death by lack of circulation?

  • Breaking: Palin cleared of ethics violation in trooper case.

Nice how they wait till the last possible second, after blasting "Guilty!" a couple weeks ago.

Oh well. Madame Vice President Palin will have been officially cleared of any wrongdoing.

  • It's will to power.

If they say you weren't there, you weren't there.
