My Favourite Google Search Today
A South Carolinian came over to Sundries after having entered this search string:
aaron burr american badass
Don't you love the randomness of search engine queries?
One immediately starts to think what series of mental calisthenics brought that person to think up that question. In this case, I like to think it was a last-minute pop quiz given by a particularly cool history teacher to a flustered seventh-grader.
P.S.: He was a total badass.
UPDATE: Ahh. Ron emails with some information.

Vic, it's not odd; what they searched for got them to Grand Royal, which got them to Carl Fisher, which got them to you!

5 Comments:
The band the Beastie Boys used to publish (or still do?) a magazine called "Grand Royal" which had a column/article every issue on Real American Badasses. They did one Aaron Burr, and one on "Carl Fischer, creator of Miami Beach." There are many Miami themed articles that issue, especially about bass trucks, (with cut out cardboard models included!) and an article entitled "Beats! Booty! Bass!" on the awesome calipglyian aspect of Booty Models...
I can pass it along if you like...
See, Sundries must indeed Fight For Her Right To Party!

Ron, I got nothing! Can you resend it please? :)
P.S.: Isn't it odd! Carl Fischer was the subject of the post which brought the Aaron Burr Googler to Sundries.
Cheers,
Victoria

When I heard Carl Fisher, I immediately thought of Karl Fischer, nerd that I am.
