And The Gestapo Were Swell Guys
I propose a new photograph in the dictionary entry for "tool". A photo of Ted Turner.
What can you say, eh?
How sad that this man will go down in history as having founded a monumentally important innovation in news broadcasting -- someone who is mired in the worst of moral relativism, just like his creation.
"And the KGB, I think, was an honorable place to work. And it, it gave people in the former Soviet Union, a communist country, an opportunity to do something important and worthwhile."

When Freud was forced to say nice things in writing in order to be able to leave Nazi Germany, he tacked on "...and I heartily recommend the Gestapo to anyone!" He correctly observed that they wouldn't get the joke being on them...

I give Freud more credit than Ted Turner.
Turner isn't joking.

Some have such pig-headed devotion to hating the US, they will praise even its most heinous enemies.
Ted Turner is almost funny at this point. He is ripe for an SNL skit.

Alas, being utterly humourless is not, sadly, just a Gestapo stereotype...it was more, ahem, universal in Germany.
@ JAL: Sigh. So true.

So long as he continues to tear down Jesus Freaks, which oddly now includes his ex-wife, they won't touch him.
And is it me, or does his constant "uhm" speech quirk make you cringe too?
Cheers,
