Cleared For Landing

Nordic Leisure airlines hadn't made an appearance at Baghdad International Airport in 18 years, until a few hours ago. 150 happy, and presumably leisurely Nordics arrived safe and sound in Iraq's capital city.

They will no doubt be followed by many others in the coming years, as once-a-week shuttles are resumed.

The low rumbling sound you hear is the sound of freedom.
